What to expect

A predictable path from request to first visit.

Once you submit a request, our intake coordinator reviews the documentation, confirms the service plan with the referring party, and schedules your first session. We keep you informed at every step.

  • 01Acknowledgement within 24 business hours. You'll receive an email confirming receipt and the name of the coordinator assigned to your case.
  • 02Case review (1–3 business days). We review the court order, agency directive, or family arrangement against our intake criteria.
  • 03Service plan call. A short call to confirm location, schedule, transportation needs, and any safety considerations.
  • 04First session. Your assigned staff member meets the family and begins service as scheduled.
Helpful to have ready

Court order or referral documentation, any prior observation reports, contact information for all involved parties, and your preferred weekly schedule. None of these are required to submit the form — they help us move faster once we connect.

A few common questions.

No. We accept referrals from Alberta Children's Services caseworkers, legal representatives, and private families. A court order is helpful but not required — voluntary supervised visitation is a service we provide.
Fees vary by service type (visitation vs. transportation), session length, and travel distance. We provide a clear written quote during the service plan call — no surprises after.
Yes. We ask for as much notice as possible — ideally 48 hours — so that children and visiting parties aren't left waiting. Late cancellations may incur a fee per our service agreement.
